Earlybirds Pre-School is a parent managed pre-school, working in close partnership with Newtown Soberton Infant School. The pre-school is situated within the school building. The children have dedicated spaces both inside and out within which to learn, as well as regular use of the school's facilities such as the hall and playgrounds.
Mrs Chambers manages the setting as well as teaching the Hedgehogs class. This ensure strong transition, continuity of provision and pooled training opportunities.
At Earlybirds, we offer a warm, welcoming and caring pre-school environment where children are secure and happy and so develop and learn.
We are open every day from 9am until 1pm and until 3.00pm on Monday to Friday (term time). We offer sessions to all children from the age of 2 years, until they start school.
We are managed by a committee of parents and carers. All parents and carers are encouraged to join the committee as it's a great way to meet other parents, keep up to date with nursery developments and contribute to the future of the nursery. Many of the children at Earlybirds go on to attend the Newtown Soberton Infant School and the Headteacher, Mrs Howell sits as chair of the committee.
Earlybirds is a registered charity, EEL accredited and a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.
